ROSALIND T. ONG

Managing Partner

Biography

Mrs. Rosalind Ong has been the founding and managing partner of Rhema Law Group since 2006 and serves as outside general counsel to more than half a dozen mid‑size corporations each year. She started the firm to provide high‑quality legal services built on integrity and client‑first dedication, and her passion for helping clients build and protect their businesses has fostered long‑term relationships over the past two decades.

Mrs. Ong is a Super Lawyers Rising Star and serves the firm as managing partner.

Recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, Mrs. Ong focuses her practice on corporate, business, and intellectual property law. A respected dealmaker, she has negotiated, structured, and closed multi‑million dollar transactions with major partners including Disney, H&M, Ulta, Costco, Sephora, Target, and others. Her transactional work has taken her abroad—establishing businesses in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Canada and finalizing contracts with European and Asian divisions of major retailers and distributors.

Beyond serving as outside General Counsel for more than a decade, Mrs. Ong is a seasoned litigator who has handled business and IP litigation since 2003. Under her leadership, Rhema Law Group has achieved numerous trial victories and favorable settlements. Despite litigation success, her guiding principle remains: “The best suit is no suit at all,” emphasizing strong contracts, IP protection, and sound corporate governance to prevent avoidable disputes.

Mrs. Ong leads a diverse team of attorneys—from patent counsel to experienced litigators—many of whom have been with the firm for over a decade. Outside the office, she serves as Chairman of the Board for Teen Leadership Foundation, a 501(c)(3) supporting at‑risk teens in the foster care community and providing housing needs to teens who have aged out. She is also active in her church and helps with multiple pro bono initiatives. She is a wife, mother of two, and a mentor to many.
