Our case was about trademarks involving Vietnamese words. We needed a trademark’s lawyer(s) who knew Vietnamese language and understood Vietnamese culture in order to help us with the case and at the same time who can defend us in court if needed.  There are a few lawyers that meet these criteria.  This case was extremely important to us because all of our soup base products are using the word CỐT as part of the brand.  We had spent so much money to brand our trademarks so we cannot afford to lose the case.
